Health and wellbeing consultations provide help investigating a general  medical issues like:

​

  • Lethargy

  • Injuries

  • Drug or Medication concerns

  • Support for health issues related to non-prescribed supplements and other substances.

​

Again they begin with a broad set of tests to establish your general wellbeing

​

  • Blood parameters

  • Kidney and liver function

  • Electrolite and mineral balance

  • Hormone profiles

​

Essentially any concerns that might get in the way of your being able to function at your best. 

 

General medical or health issues, whatever you need.

FAQ​

  • All meetings are exclusively via telehealth.

​

  • SMS is generally the best and easiest way to reach me

​

  • while I provide my contact details and enjoy staying in touch, the time demands are difficult to manage, please understand that bookings and communicating with appointments are the best way to deal with most issues (plus it helps my organization and time management greatly.).

​

  • Current patients and booked appointments come first. Sadly, I don't always have time to respond to general enquiries quickly and general conversation, as much as I enjoy it.​

​

  • If you need a fast or urgent consultation limited  'shortlist' bookings are available - but they do cost more.

​

  •  I encourage individuals to develop their own agency in managing their own health and I'm very responsive to patient wishes, but the goal is always treatment and results not simply supply. 

​

  • Because these services are treatments provided outside of the ‘Medicare’ model, consultation costs generally do not attract either a Medicare subsidy and aren't always covered by private insurers.

  • Please remember there’s often reasoning in the pharmacist I'll ask you to see, skill levels professional and personal experience differ- and a good pharmacist can form a genuine, and valuable, part of your care, far beyond dispensing medication. 

 

  • Addiction, dependance and other forms of maladaptive medication use are very much part of today's medical environment. There's no shame or embarrassment in admitting to needing some help our guidance if you're unhappy with the role of substance or medication plays in your life. Please feel comfortable discussing or asking for help. it's a medical problem just like any other and talking and learning about the issues it's often enough to get people Moving forward.
